Sometimes inspiration can be hard to find in our crazy day to day lives. For me I find it hard to put time aside to be creative, especially while juggling academics. My high school art teacher is my biggest inspiration and why my love of the arts flourished. I think of her and what she taught me when creating art, studying art and when looking for inspiration. However I would say my main inspiration comes from the world around me. Exploring different cultures and their art, architecture and landscapes both in person and through education inspires me not only to create, but also to pursue my love of arts even when others have told me not to. I hope in the future my love for the arts and my studies in art history can inspire others who may have also been discouraged to pursue their art dreams.
